Issues in Geoscience Education, taught Fall 2003, A graduate level seminar that explores issues related to geoscience education. Students read papers on education research and materials, and report on their reading.

Issues in Geoscience Education, taught Spring 2005 Same as above. This version has a sequence of power point lectures given by the student participants.

My teaching philosophy:
I believe that active student engagement in the learning process is essential. I support students in applying their learning to useful, real world situations. Students investigate phenomena using real earth data, make presentations to peers, conduct open-ended investigations, and write about their findings.
